As this month (a 100th anniversary of its formation) acknowledging the rich contributions of the Black Community comes to a close, I thought it was important to reflect on some people that I’ve had the opportunity to have had an association with throughout the years – some have passed while others continue on as models for all. There are so many others remaining anonymous who shape history in profound ways within our community.
As per usual – each has an interesting story attached – so here is a list of several for whom I have great personal admiration for the impact in making the world a better place [mouse over each name to link for additional information].
